Natasha Holmes – Community VP

Natasha Holmes has been a part of the League for six years. While in the League, her most memorable moment was winning the 2017 Community Volunteer of Year. At that moment she realized that people do acknowledge your hard work even when you think no one is looking. Natasha has had the opportunity to serve on different committees but being on the Backpack Buddies Committee was by far her favorite: as a classroom teacher of many students who have food insecurities, she was able to see for herself how much this community project impacts the lives of children the Savannah area.

When asked what her favorite quote is she said: “‘If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader,’ because it reminds me that effective leadership is not a position but it is the ability to help others accomplish the goal.”
