The Junior League of Savannah has partnered with Park Place Outreach, LLC., focusing on “Career and Education”. The kids at Park Place vary in ages from 13-18 years old and our committee visits their home in Savannah once a month. We discuss topics in line with future careers including job search tools, resume writing, interview preparation, and more! Additionally, when it comes to education, our JLS committee embarked on a Campus Tour for the kids to visit local colleges and hear about their post-secondary options. We currently have plans for the kids to attend Savannah State University as the second leg of their Campus Tour in April 2024.
