Volunteer Opportunities

  • Park Place Outreach: The Junior League of Savannah is fortunate to partner with Park Place Outreach with their program, Family Always Matters (F.A.M). This program works with teens and their families to receive case management, support services, and placement prevention services to help teens remain safely in their homes to sustain and maintain family stability. This program serves at-risk teenagers ages 11-17.
  • Fit Kids Fest: This signature event promotes overall wellness for K-12 students and introduces participants to academic resources in the community in addition to teaching how to make healthy choices and live an active lifestyle. Activities for the 2024 Fit Kids Fest included free, full access to the Savannah Children’s Museum including a life-size maze, slides, and sensory garden; a healthy scavenger hunt; a trail mix remix station; and face painting.
  • Women’s Empowerment Workshops: Share your skills and expertise by participating in workshops designed to empower women with the knowledge and resources needed to thrive.
  • Done-in-a-Day Programs: Opportunities for League members to volunteer in short-term (generally a few hours or one day), impactful programs with various community partners and organizations throughout the year. Examples of recent Done-in-a-Day activities of the Junior League of Savannah include the Ronald McDonald House, American Heart Association Heart Ball, Savannah Greek Fest, Boys and Girls Club, Over the Moon Diaper Bank, and local literacy nights.
